Typhoon #9 hit the Tokyo at 9/6. The massive waves exploded on the beach just in front of my house. More photos.
Typhoon #4 brought the biggest wave of this year. The largest day was mostly closed out condition, but still fun to see the massive power of the waves. The next day was the day for all the surfers waiting for grand swell.
Typhoon number 4 hit Japanese coast on 7/14. Thogh most of the beach breaks were closed out, some reef breaks were good to surf. I enjoyed morning riding that was fun !
The waves were good. Quite hollow waves. You could make a little tube if you were lucky, otherwise bumped into the sandy bottom.
